"Bad Moon Rising" (2019)
Fires raging out of control, mega hurricanes destroying everything in their path, earthquakes, tornados... Climate change is real; Mother Nature always has the final say. "Bad Moon Rising" was written by John Fogerty and released by his band Creedence Clearwater Revival in 1969. This timeless song has always resonated with me, but I wanted to approach it from a more reflective mood -- a somber resignation to excepting the inevitable. "Book of Tears" (2019)
Gun violence in America is out of control. 22 mass killings in America in 2019. More than 7,000 children killed since the Sandy Hook massacre. Thoughts and prayers don't bring back the dead. We need gun reform now! We need mental health checklists now! We need to come together and end the divisiveness now. Who will end this Book of Tears?
